The indoor-outdoor Streeton 3 design
is ideally suited to holiday living
With the kitchen, dining and living areas spilling out on to the entertainment deck, Sarah Homes' Streeton 3 design epitomises what holiday living is all about. The single-storey home is just 9.3m wide and therefore suits many of the block sizes around today. It has its living and sleeping quarters specifically zoned.
The three bedrooms are at the rear of the home, which means guests don't have to venture there unless a bathroom stop is needed. The living and dining areas are at the front of the house, with two sets of sliding doors that open to two separate timber decks – the ideal spaces to socialise with guests or enjoy some solitude and take in the views while enjoying a glass of wine and a cheese platter. Sarah Homes can configure the decking around a client's block type and personal needs.
The kitchen has an island-style bench with a breakfast bar and two sinks, and a wall of cupboards with a fridge alcove. It overlooks the dining area to the front – which is flooded with natural light thanks to clever angled window placement – and a family room to the left. There is a three-way bathroom between the three bedrooms, two of which have built-in wardrobes, and a laundry next to the third bedroom.
Sarah Homes has other floorplans within its Streeton range, including a four bedroom version and a two-storey design. The builder also uses specialist composite materials for construction, meaning the living areas are 30cm wider than traditionally built homes, providing extra valuable space.
